Writers Workshops
Debra Moffitt offers writers workshops for girls ages 9 and older. The curriculum, created with a veteran teacher, covers the essentials of good writing and goes further than typical English classes. Girls learn about structure, conflict, and how to create characters that readers will care about.
The workshop encourages reading, sharing, and sets a goal that each girl will complete a story by the final workshop session. The workshop concludes with a reading for family and friends.
